She's inspired by a real-life seal that hangs around Portland's working waterfront. We saw her one day when while down on a pier picking up seaweed from a kelp farmer. Blind in both eyes, she's one of the happiest looking creatures we've ever met. Ta. Also, some people say she looks like an otter. If that's more your jam, she's an otter! ;)
